Anvil Terms

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Anvil application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Anvil is a mobile application designed to provide a convenient interface for managing your Laravel Forge servers, sites, and related infrastructure.

3. Server Management Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: This App provides an interface to perform powerful server management operations. You acknowledge that actions taken through the App directly affect your production servers and infrastructure.

• You are solely responsible for all actions performed using your Laravel Forge API key
• Improper use of server management features may result in data loss, downtime, or security vulnerabilities
• The App developers are not responsible for any damage to your servers, data, or infrastructure
• You should always maintain proper backups and follow security best practices

4. User Accounts and Subscriptions

4.1 Subscription Services

Certain features of the App require a paid subscription to Anvil Pro.

• All new users are eligible for a 2-week free trial to access premium features
• After the trial period, you may choose from the following subscription options:

• Subscription fees are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Monthly and yearly subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• The free trial will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends
• Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase

4.2 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Share, distribute, or reproduce App content without authorization
• Use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service

6. Intellectual Property

• All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by the App developers
• Laravel Forge is a trademark of Laravel, LLC. Anvil is not affiliated with Laravel, LLC or Laravel Forge
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business purposes

7. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the information displayed
• The availability or uninterrupted access to the App
• The successful execution of any server management operations
• That the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations

Laravel Forge API availability and functionality are controlled by Laravel, LLC. We are not responsible for any changes to or outages of the Laravel Forge API.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits or data
• Server downtime or data loss
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App

10. Assumption of Risk and User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

• You use this App entirely at your own risk
• You are solely responsible for how you use the App and any actions you take based on the information provided
• The App developers are not responsible for any harm, injury, loss, or damage to you, your property, your servers, your data, or any third parties arising from your use of the App
• You are responsible for ensuring that any actions performed through the App (including server management, deployments, and configuration changes) are appropriate for your specific situation
• The App developers make no guarantees regarding the outcomes of any actions taken through the App

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the App developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
